ABOUT TANAGER PLANTS

EXPLORE OUR NATIVE PLANT SELECTION

Local eco-type matters when creating diverse habitats, which is why I specialize in locally-grown native plant material.  Whenever possible, I grow my plants from seed to ensure genetic diversity and am actively working to increase bioregional genetics for our core offerings.

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY

butterflies and flowers

"When a Helene mudslide carried away 4 years of native plant restoration and 60+ trees, I knew I needed to get to work immediately getting roots into the bare dirt and restoring habitat lost to the storm.  I have bought many plants from Emily, and they are always healthy and thriving. I also needed lots of advice adapting to a new, sunny landscape. Tanager plants, ranging from grasses and forbs to vines and trees, now help hold the soil in place while feeding the birds, caterpillars, butterflies, bees, and other pollinators."
