GROWN MATTERS
At Tanager, I grow native plants from seed whenever possible to ensure genetic diversity and local adaptation.
My growing practices include:

Using my own blend of peat-free, living soil with base material from Dirtcraft® Organics

Starting with cultural Integrated Pest Management as a compass to guide the rest of the process

Using only organic-approved methods

Growing in biodegradable or repurposed containers

Collecting propagation material and seed from our local region (with permission and care)
Late Spring is here...
And we are in full production mode! New crops of seed-grown perennials are posted on the availability list and will continue to become available through the season. Woodies generally take a little longer to root, but some of the fastest growers like Black Elderberry and Indigobush are ready and rooted. The availability posted here on the website will be the most regularly updated resource to keep an eye on what is currently ready. Apply for a wholesale account by filling out the form below and have your business information ready along with your EIN.

Once approved, you'll be prompted via email to set your password so you can access the Wholesale Ordering Page.

On the Wholesale Ordering Page, you'll be able to see the available inventory and download it in PDF or XLS format if needed.

Fill out the order form on the same Wholesale Ordering Page by adding your contact info, order details, pick-up, delivery, timing, etc.

Emily will reach out within a few days to confirm your order, availability of plants, and pick-up delivery date options. Your invoice will be sent at that time.
