About Our Plants
Wholesale
- 01We sell directly from our nursery at 400 Hickory Drive in Mars Hill, NC (by appointment only for retail clients) and at seasonal plant sales and events. Follow us on Instagram for the latest updates. Reach out by phone or email (check out the Contact tab) to place an order or make an appointment. Check out the Events tab for upcoming retail opportunities!
- 02Please place orders a minimum of 3 business days ahead of time to allow us to get them pulled and tagged for you. For orders requiring brokered material (plants that need to be sourced offsite), at least 2 weeks is ideal, and 3 weeks may be required during peak seasons (spring and fall). The earlier you get in touch, the more likely we can fulfill your full plant list.
- 03Not quite—we’re a working nursery with a small crew, so visits are by appointment only. Reach out to schedule a time!
- 04We follow industry standards for health and vigor and guarantee our plant babies leave the nursery healthy and ready to thrive. Once they're in your care, we’re not able to offer refunds or replacements—but we’re happy to help troubleshoot! I will never sell you a plant that isn't rooted into the container. If you have claims on wholesale orders, let me know within 2 days of order pickup or delivery.
- 05No, at this time, we strictly focus on growing native plants from seeds specifically for our own use, ensuring that we can provide high-quality plants that support local WNC ecotypes, pollinators, and resilient landscapes. Feel free to reach out if you need some suggestions on reputable native seed companies - and beware the many "wildflower" seed mixes out there that contain many non-native species!
- 06Our retail availability list is posted on the Nursery Page and pricing is available upon request. For wholesale customers, pricing is available through the application process and members-only login.
- 07Yes! We're happy to offer basic guidance on species selection, just reach out with your questions or set up an appointment to visit the nursery. If you are in need of something more comprehensive, Emily offers native-focused planting design as well as consulting on plant care and ID. Feel free to reach out for more information.
